Your IncCommand department license covers every diver, every supervisor, every DSO, and every device in your department โ no per-person fees, no activation codes, no user accounts. Here’s how to deploy it to your team.
- No accounts, no passwords. Every team member just needs the URL:
depthplanner.com/inccommand/. They open it in Safari (iPhone) or Chrome (everything else), install to home screen, done. - Each person installs on their own device. The install is per-device, not per-person. One diver might install on their personal phone AND the station tablet โ both installs are covered.
- Station / apparatus tablets. For a shared iPad or Android tablet mounted in a vehicle or at the station, use the same install process. Anyone who picks it up can use IncCommand โ no login required.
- Dive Safety Officer setup. The DSO’s device is the command device. Install on their primary field device first, verify offline, then run a tabletop exercise before operational deployment.
- New hires and transfers. Send them the URL. They install. They’re covered. No admin action needed on your end.
- Recommended minimum: install on these devices per team โ DSO’s phone, Dive Supervisor’s phone or tablet, incident command post laptop/tablet, at least one backup device in the apparatus.
- Roll-out message for your team. Copy and send:
Team โ install IncCommand on your phones and tablets. Opendepthplanner.com/inccommand/in Safari (iPhone) or Chrome (Android/laptop). Follow the install prompt to save it to your home screen. Once installed it works completely offline โ no cell service or WiFi needed at the scene. Installs take about 60 seconds. See the DSO if you have any questions. - Training exercise tip. Run your first tabletop with IncCommand before operational use. Create a mock incident, fill in the ICS manifest, toggle Rescue โ Recovery mode, and generate a test incident report. Your team will be fluent in under 30 minutes.
Install all three planners for the full toolkit. Each installs as its own separate offline app โ depthplanner.com/planner/ for DiveCommand, depthplanner.com/navy/ for NavCommand, and depthplanner.com/inccommand/ for IncCommand. Repeat the install steps on every device you dive with. All future updates included, no reinstall needed โ updates cache automatically when you open the app on WiFi.
